Welcome to the website of Headcorn Parish Council. This site is aimed to provide you with a comprehensive guide to our activities, procedures and agendas/minutes of meetings. Headcorn is a vibrant village with a historical past and is situated on the A274 between Maidstone and Tenterden with many shops, public houses and restuarants situated in the High Street (Post Code TN27 9NE). It is surrounded by countryside offering superb walking and cycling and the local aerodrome for those who wish to go flying or parachuting.
Built by the Parish Council and opened in October 2006, the £1.4m Village Hall is a thriving community hub providing a wide range of activities for all generations. It has two large halls, meeting rooms the Parish Office and Archive Centre. For more information on how to hire the hall and view its facilitities please click here.
Speeding is a key issue in this parish, so we kindly ask that if you live, visit or are just passing through that you "Slow Down" and observe the limits.

Don't forget Headcorn Day on Sunday 22nd August, a whole day of events starting with a boot fair in the morning, a fayre on Parsonage Meadow in the afternoon and rounded of with a Barn Dance at the Village Hall in the evening. We look forward to seeing you.
